All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts.

History of BOC

Bank of Commerce has been locally owned and operated since it received its charter on November 17th, 1980.  The bank has grown significantly over the past five years and we serve all of Canadian County.  The bank is dedicated to helping its customers with their banking and financial needs in a fast and friendly manner.

On May 3rd, 1999, we opened our first branch on the corner of Mustang Road and Reno Avenue. We subsequently opened another branch in downtown El Reno on February 14th, 2000 at 220 S. Bickford. Our newest branch location was opened on Highway 152 in Mustang in December of 2009 giving us four very convenient locations.

Bank of Commerce changed its name in December 2009 from Canadian State Bank and for almost 30 years that name served us well.  The reason for the name change was to better reflect what we do and yes, we still have the same owners, employees and attitude towards great service.  Come see us at one of our convenient locations:
